The Shows of Today: Raising Hope, Glee, and Switched at Birth

So media wise I only got three shows in today which are the ones listed in the title. I watch them on Hulu every week when the new one comes out because I don't really get a lot of T.V. time at our house. So my thoughts on the episodes are as follows;

Raising Hope: Really? They just had to do an episode about spiders? I thought the show was under-budget and canceled or something but I am so glad its not. Although the show has moved away from the baby Hope, its still really good and funny. I love mama, she makes the show. Anyways, after watching this episode I totally want to get a spider net, keep the little buggers off of me. Eww my skin craws just thinking about it. The show did make a lot of good points about marriage and relationships thought which really makes you think.

Glee: An episode about one guy wanting to commit suicide because he can't handle the teasing he gets from being gay and a premature marriage. Now, don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of the show. I have been since the first episode and yes I do understand they have all sorts of issues to deal with. But attempted suicide, it just bothers me. My sister has depression and stuff so I know the mind can make you think horrible things, but to ever get so bad to want to kill yourself just puzzles me. I do have an unnatural fear of dying though so when I think about death I have panic attacks other people not so much. And as for the marriage, I get wanting to get married and be with the person you love for the rest of your life, but they kept saying why wait lets do it now, why wait lets do it now and its like... really? First off they have been on and off again and have so many issues and just don't act mature. The only reason it seems like Rachel accepted Finn is because she thought she got turned down for the school she wanted to attend and he was afraid of being stuck alone in his home town. That is not the sort of stuff you want to build a marriage off of. It didn't feel like they thought it through at all and then to top it all off Quinn gets in a car accident. The drama!

Switched at Birth: Ty's back and its another episode that once again relates to military life. I just cannot get away from it I tell you. Military life is not a bad thing but I just want to zone out on a show and not think about how my husband is all the way across the world from me and could be sent to a war zone at any time without me being there to see him off or anything. Other than that I don't have anything to say about the show. It is amazing as usual. Daphne isn't happy with her relationship, Bay and Emmett may be over, who knows what Angelo's source is. Its all very exciting, I look forward to next weeks episode to see where the plot goes.

And that was my media intake for the day. Writing wise I have been having trouble with my role-play site so I haven't been on there much today. Probably why I created all my new blogs. I have an avatar, harry potter, and x-men next generation role-plays going and I am really looking forward to getting those up and running for good. I am going to try to watch something else on Hulu tonight before bed, get my mind off of life.

Bio of the Ranter

Hello,

My name is Tamizan and I am an avid reader and television/movie fanatic. I love media of all sorts and genre's. This blog was created because I need to rant about those things I love. Take the Harry Potter phenomena for example, I love love love the books, the movies however set my teeth on edge. I am just one fan, but I like to state my opinion on such matters and that is where this blog comes in. Everything on this blog is my opinion about movies, the actors and actresses in them, the directing, and the books I read as well. As it is my opinion, some may find it offensive, and I apologize but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Anyways, that's what this blog is about. Feel free to comment and state your own opinions if you wish.
